Take to the World
Two weeks have gone by since we last enjoyed a wonderful time of corporate worship with missionaries from across the world. For us the missions conference lasted eight days.
We has six days of fellowship, training, worship, planning, praying. We feel encouraged and equipped for the battle ahead. The rest of the time we enjoyed spending with the whole body at DBC.
For those of you who were able to make the conference we so appreciate you joining us and finding out what God is doing around the world and how you can be involved. There are new avenues to be involved. At the conference we mentioned six: BTCP, Prayer, Women's ministry, Short-term trips, individual missionary support, Long-term service .
If you were there and have any questions about how to be involved in one of these areas please contact us or if you weren't there but would like to know how to be involved please let us know as well. Some of you have already made new commitments to involvement in one of these areas. We appreciate your faithfulness to the Great Commission.
Right after the conference (in fact the same night) we traveled to Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Louisiana to visit supporters and share our vision with individuals and churches. It was a long trip but God really blessed our time.
We now have a few weeks before we go back to Argentina. Thanks for your prayers.
1. Please pray for a smooth transition and our upcoming moves. We return to Argentina around February 22nd. We will then be in our house a few days until we move to our new location in La Plata (we're moving from a suburb type setting to downtown close to the church and to the campus of college students). Moves can be challenging in Argentina. So we appreciate your prayers with all that is involved. Pray that God would provide the right apartment or house in La Plata that would be ideal for ministry, hosting people, etc.
2. Pray that our marriage and our family would be a strong testimony of God's grace to those around us.
3. Pray for the month we have left in the US that He could give us wisdom in the time we have left. Pray that God would lead us in how we use our time. There are a lot of people we would like to see and things we would like to accomplish before returning.
